Emergency Medicine, Essential Procedures
Pre Conference Workshop
Session Description
Emergency Medicine is rich in its variety, pace, and complexity - that’s why we love it! Procedures are our daily bread and butter and for us rural and remote folk the frequency of encountering even essential procedures such as paediatric airway management, critically ill adult RSI or even pelvic binder application can be highly variable. We therefore need to be the experts, ready at any time, comfortable and competent when faced with such.
This half day workshop covers essential EM procedures in a simulated, practical skills workshop environment. It is aimed at any health care professional who wants to put their knowledge into practise, wants to revise, wants to learn new tips and tricks, wants to share their knowledge with likeminded colleagues, needs to be signed off for their Procedural Checklist or just wants a rich, “Do the basics well” pre-conference workshop for their CPD.
Target audience: Rural Generalists, AEMTP/AEMTP Trainees, FACEMs, Fellowship trainees, nurses, paramedics, NP's, ANYONE
In person only
$250 per person
