Deckchair Cinema is a unique outdoor cinema that offers an unparalleled movie experience. As an independent cinema operated by the Darwin Film Society, we take pride in showcasing an exclusive selection of films that are usually not available to local audiences.

Lace up your running shoes and join us for an energising start to the day with our Wellbeing Morning Run that sets the tone for an inspiring conference experience. This family-friendly, guided 5km fun run will kick off from the iconic Darwin Waterfront, taking you on a scenic route, yet to be confirmed. After the run, you can enjoy a well-deserved post-run dip at the nearby man-made beach, if you fancy it.


With numerous coffee shops lining the Waterfront, attendees can indulge in a delicious breakfast and fuel up for the day ahead.

We are thrilled to invite LGBTQIA+ members, trainees and allies to our queer EM networking event, where we will come together to foster connections, and promote inclusivity within our profession and our future. This event will be part of the social program at the Conference.

Start your day with tranquillity and rejuvenation at the Wellbeing Morning Yoga session. This yoga session will be suitable for all levels of experience and will be held at the picturesque Darwin Waterfront.


Immerse yourself in the serenity of the surroundings as you flow through yoga poses designed to relax your mind, stretch your body, and enhance your overall wellbeing. After the session, unwind and connect with nature by taking a refreshing post-yoga dip at the nearby man-made beach.


Before continuing with your day, refuel at one of the many coffee shops conveniently located around the area. Attendees are requested to bring their own yoga mat to ensure maximum comfort during the session.
