Opening Session
Plenary Session - Plenary - Auditorium 2
Amid the awe-inspiring landscapes of Australia and Canada, rural emergency medicine thrives on creativity and unwavering dedication. After making a solemn promise to a patient on her deathbed, Dr. Fleet embarked on a journey of relentless advocacy and research to transform despair into hope. Quebec's circus industry emerged as an unexpected yet powerful ally, proving that when imagination meets commitment, miracles happen. For the people and by the people, the pioneering rural living lab hospital project stands as a testament to the imaginative possibilities that arise when passion unites with purpose. Australians and Canadians, as academic leaders in rural emergency medicine, let's fulfill this promise together and inspire the world.
