Bridget is a FACEM who lives on Yugambeh country and works on Gumainggir land at the Grafton Base Hospital. She has worked all around Australia and in medical regulation and disaster response roles, but is drawn to rural and remote medicine including the beautiful Central Australian region. She is a section editor for Emergency Medicine Australasia and has contributed to the textbook Healthy Ageing and Aged Care. She is passionate about improving acute care of older people as well as equitable access to emergency care more broadly. When she’s not at work, she enjoys relaxing by the water and reading about the political economy of health.
