John is a rural generalist and ACEM trainee, currently working at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and providing rural senior medical officer relief within Queensland. He is a GP Obstetrician/GP Anaesthetist with an interest in global health, sustainability in healthcare and pondering the philosophical aspects of medicine. He is a Medical Educator with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM). Outside of work, he enjoys travel, hiking, board games and spending time with his rescue greyhound Elphie.
