Kim Gorey is a Central Eastern Arrernte woman who has lived in Alice Springs for most of her life. In 2022, Kim took on the role of ED Aboriginal Care Coordinator at Alice Springs Hospital and pioneered the ED Frequent Attenders Care Coordination Program, supporting patients who frequently attend ED with a culturally safe, bio-psycho-social model of holistic care. Kim is well connected to her family and community and is a strong advocate for Aboriginal people and their health and wellbeing. She has previously worked at various Aboriginal organisations, as a youth worker, an alcohol and other drugs support worker and a counsellor.
