Rachael completed her ACEM training in Victoria with the fabulous team at Monash Health and has also relished her time in retrieval with Life Flight and Adult Retrieval Victoria.  She now enjoys the boundless opportunities presented to her by living and working in Sunny Coffs Harbour as a mother of three.  Rachael balances her working life with enjoying the beautiful local beaches with her husband and children. Having grown up in rural Victoria, and returned to the country after training, she is a passionate advocate for rural health care.

Rachael is the Deputy Director of Coffs Harbour Health Campus Emergency Department, as well as providing care at the delightful Macksville District Hospital Emergency Department.  During her time working on the Mid North Coast of NSW, she has taken on various roles including Medical Lead for COVID care and establishing the Mid North Coast Virtual Care service.  She is excited to have been elected to the NSW ACEM Faculty and appointed the Deputy Chair for 2023-2025, where she will continue to advocate for Regional and Rural Emergency Medicine.
