I am a Rural Doctor based in te Tara-o-te-ika-a-Māui (Coromandel Peninsula). I live in Whangamatā with my partner Jess and three children (Hamish, Charlotte and Angus). I work part time at Thames Hospital and also as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Otago with the rural post-graduate programme. I am trying to finish my PhD exploring rural-urban health disparities with a focus on ischaemic heart disease and chest pain.
