Tara is an ACEM advanced trainee who currently lives in Albany, Western Australia. She grew up a city girl but packed her bags from the Gold Coast 14 years ago as a junior emergency nurse, and sort of accidentally ended up in love with regional WA. She completed the first half of her training in metropolitan Perth, but managed to drag her husband back out of the city in 2023. She is a mother to two (and soon to be three!) busy little boys. She is a keen equestrian and recently took up taekwondo. Special interests in emergency medicine include womens’ health and early pregnancy, medical education and mentorship.
