Dr Vimbai Kapuya is a Rural Generalist and ACRRM fellow. She holds a diploma in Child Health and completed her Advanced Skills Training in Paediatrics. She also has skills in Women's Health and Emergency Medicine. She obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education through Flinders University and has worked as a Medical Educator for several years. She is on the ACRRM Education and Training Committee, and the International Medical Graduate Committee and the Respectful Workplaces Committee.
She is the ACRRM Regional Director of Training for the Northern Territory. She works as a Rural Generalist in various rural locations. She has good knowledge and experience of the challenges faced in rural and remote areas, and hopes to bring better health care to our rural communities through training future rural generalists.
